Funding
Funding shouldn't be the thing that gets in the way of your child getting support.
We work with families across a range of funding options, and we're always happy to talk through what might suit your situation.
NDIS
We support children whose NDIS plans are self-managed or plan-managed. If your child's plan is managed either of these ways, you can put their funding towards occupational therapy at Roots. Not sure how your plan is managed? Get in touch and we can help you work it out.
Medicare
If your child is eligible, your GP can prepare a Chronic Disease Management plan (previously known as EPC) and refer them for occupational therapy. This provides a Medicare rebate towards a set number of sessions each year. Your GP can let you know whether your child qualifies.
Private Health Insurance
Many private health funds offer rebates for occupational therapy as part of extras cover. How much you can claim depends on your fund and your level of cover, so it's worth checking with them directly. We'll provide everything you need to make a claim.
Private-Paying Families
You don't need a funding scheme to see us. Families are welcome to pay privately, and we'll provide invoices and receipts for your records.
